A MAN who spat in a doorman’s face as he was led out of St James Wine Bar and then spat in a police officer’s face has pleaded guilty to assault.
Jake Lescop (28) also admitted resisting arrest during the incident on 29 December, when he appeared at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Relief Magistrate David Cadin asked for a pre-sentence report and postponed sentencing until 21 February.
Lescop was released on bail, on condition he does not enter licensed premises.
