ISLANDERS are asked to take caution tomorrow as a yellow snow warning has been issued by the Jersey Met office.
Flurries of sleet and snow are expected from 7.30am on the morning of Thursday 21 November and into the afternoon.
Highs of five degrees will feel “very cold”, Jersey Met have said, and ground accumulation of snow under 5mm is expected to be “minor” and “temporary”.
Snow is “more likely” to gather and stay on higher ground, they have warned, with perhaps some hill fog patches.
Hail showers will also appear later in the afternoon, the Met Office predicts, with maximum temperatures of six degrees.
Hail may continue into the evening, becoming heavy at times. Ground frost is also expected.
