Channel Islands Air Search involved in nighttime missing person search

A SEARCH for a missing person this morning saw a Channel Islands Air Search plane travel across the south coast in the early hours of Saturday 7 September.

The service’s plane, the Lion’s Pride, was called at 1.35am to look for a person who had gone missing and was believed to be on the south coast.

Police and an Air Rescue Channel Islands drone were also involved.

After a search spanning from St Aubin to La Rocque, the Air Search said the person was found “safe and well” around 3am.
